This directory of congregations lists congregations worshipping according to the New Testament pattern. This means that the congregations listed commune using only one loaf of unleaven bread. Each communicant breaks a piece off from that one loaf and eats. The communion service also consists of the communicants drinking from one cup which contains fruit of the vine (grape juice).

The congregations listed here meet in one assembly. There is no Sunday School or Bible classes. All the speaking is done by men only. The music of each congregation is vocal only (a cappella).

Congregations that are listed here are taken from the church directory published by Brother Rick Martin. Brother Martin's introduction and reasoning for listing or not listing congregations is shared.

This is a work in progress. Currently, only a portion of the directory is listed. Those listed are primarily those congregations in the surrounding states adjacent to Alabama, the home state of the Hartford Highway Church of Christ. Some congregations were not listed due to the lack of a physical\911 address.

Please note: The discrepancies between the mileage given in the map sidebar and those in the directions are because of calulation differences. Those in the sidebar are radial distances and are straight lines from the point of origin. Those in the directions are path distances and are calculated by the highways that are taken.
